VesVes (ベスベス, BesuBesu) is the youngest member of the Amazoness Quartet who works for the Dead Moon Circus. One day in the 30th century she will awaken as Sailor Vesta (セーラーベスタ, Sērā Besuta) of the Sailor Quartet, guardians of Chibiusa.
Nomenclature & Etymology[]
She is the Sailor Guardian of Vesta, one of the four major asteroids in the Asteroid Belt. It was the fourth asteroid ever discovered by mankind. In Greece, this asteroid is not called Vesta - it is called Hestia.
Vesta is the Roman goddess of the hearth, home, and family. The name Vesta can have its roots in multiple words, such as the Gaelic Celtic visc (fire). The greek equivalent of the latin word vesta is hestia (hearth) who shares the name with Greek analogous goddess Hestia.

Amazoness Quartet[]
VesVes has red hair, red eyes, and tan skin. She wears a red and black bra and matching bottoms with a transparent pink skirt. She has golden bracelets and matching ear covers. Her hair is pulled back with numerous golden hair bands with red stones in them. She wears white, horned shoulder pads and red sandals. She is the second shortest of the Amazoness Quartet.
Sailor Quartet[]
Sailor Vesta had scarlet red hair styled into a peculiar high ponytail, with multiple gold bands inlaid with red gems around the majority of it, and a long black band connected to a red oblong piece, that resembled a circle with a crescent-shaped bite taken out of it, containing the rest of her hair. Her sailor uniform consisted of a white leotard with a black chest bow and a red star-shaped brooch affixed to it. Her stripe-less sailor collar was red, her choker was red, her earrings were small red studs, and her tiara was gold with a red star. She had white bubble-like sleeves with a double row of white trim and white bicep-length gloves with red padding. Her skirt was red with a white bow that had a slight sheen of red at the back, and her footwear consisted of white knee-high boots with red inverted triangular arches with yellow stars.
Personality[]
She is a foil of Sailor Mars of the Inner Sailor Guardians. She is fiery and brash.
Information[]
Like the other members of the Sailor Quartet, she is a Sailor Guardian, Sailor Vesta, who was corrupted by Queen Nehelenia and forced to work for the Dead Moon Circus under Zirconia as a member of the Amazoness Quartet until she was freed.
VesVes is the animal tamer of the Amazoness Quartet. The Amazon Trio (Fish Eye, Hawk's Eye, and Tiger's Eye) are originally her pets. She is upset when they fall in battle. There are other animals in the circus she watches over including an elephant. When PallaPalla notices Chibiusa trying to return to the future and hitting their barrier, VesVes sends Tiger's Eye into the city to investigate. Her pet causes a panic in Tokyo and successfully drew out Sailor Chibi Moon and Sailor Moon whom they were previously unaware.
