"Venus Love and Beauty Shock" is a light/metal-based attack that Super Sailor Venus uses in the manga, anime, crystal, musicals, and video games.
Manga and Crystal[]
This is an attack for which Super Sailor Venus uses her Whip of Love to attack. It is shown as both an energy based attack where she sends a blast of light energy towards her target and also as a physical attack where she directly hits her enemy with the whip. She first uses it immediately upon obtaining her Venus Crystal from Artemis and uses her Whip of Love to destroy Xenotime and Zeolite. Super Sailor Venus uses it a second time as the Sailor Guardians are chasing down Zirconia after they had hit her with Sailor Planet Power Meditation.
She is only shown using this attack as Super Sailor Venus. As Eternal Sailor Venus, when under the influence of Sailor Galaxia's Galactica Bracelets, she uses an altered Whip of Love to use an alternate version of this attack: Venus Love and Galactica Shock. This is Sailor Venus' strongest individual attack when you include the Shadow Galactica variant.
Anime[]
The attack first appeared in episode 154 where it was used against the Amazoness Quartet. Sailor Venus put out her hand and shouted "Venus!", causing the symbol of Venus to appear and unleash a flurry of yellow sparkles. The sparkles appeared to gloss onto her lips and give her orange lipstick. She then kissed the palm of her hand, forming a yellow heart. Shouting "Love and Beauty Shock!", she threw it and it circled her, multiplying into several hearts, then back into one glowing heart that was to hit the enemy in an explosion of yellow light.
Musicals[]
This attack first appeared in the musical Yume Senshi - Ai - Eien ni..., where it was used against a Lemures. Like her manga counterpart, she used an evil version called Venus Love and Galactica Shock when she was being manipulated by Sailor Galaxia in Le Mouvement Final.
Video Games[]
Venus Love and Beauty Shock appeared in several video games, such as Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Super S: Fuwa Fuwa Panikku, Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Sailor Stars: Fuwa Fuwa Panikku 2 , and Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon SuperS: Zenin Senkai!! Shuyaku Soudatsusen.

Trivia[]

- The wreath of roses that appears at the beginning of the attack in both the first anime and manga is a symbol of the Greek goddess, Aphrodite, or the Roman goddess, Venus.
