Template:InfoboxPhraseVenus Crystal Power, Make Up is the phrase used by Minako Aino to transform into Super Sailor Venus in the Dream Arc and into Eternal Sailor Venus in the Stars Arc of the manga. In the anime, Minako to transform into her evolved Super Sailor form, Super Sailor Venus in the fourth and fifth seasons.

Manga

“Super”

In Act 44 - Dream 6, Minako used this phrase with the Venus Crystal to transform into Super Sailor Venus. She first used the phrase shortly after Artemis gave her the crystal.

“Eternal”

In Act 49 - Dream 11, Minako raised her hand and yelled “Venus Crystal Power!” to give power to Eternal Sailor Moon’s Eternal Tiare. Afterwards, she transformed into a form similar to Eternal Sailor Moon’s, referred to as “Eternal Sailor Venus” by fans, along with the other Sailor Senshi.

In Act 50 - Stars 1, Minako used the phrase along with the Inner Senshi to transform into Eternal Sailor Venus to fight Sailor Iron Mouse. In Act 52, Minako used the phrase one last time with Rei before her Sailor Crystal and Mars’ was taken by Galaxia.

Anime

This transformation was very similar to Sailor Venus' previous one with very few differences, the main one being that a uniforming of roses appeared behind her at the end of the transformation. Other differences include the brighter colors of the animation, and at the end, Sailor Venus brushed her hair out of her face as she moved into her final pose, which she did this for Sailor V's Transformation but she didn't do it for the other two.

In this transformation, Minako held up the Crystal Change Rod and her fingernails turned bright orange as an orange crystal with a Venus symbol and a chain of many leaves and few roses connects to it. She then held the Rod in the air as long banners of golden stars emitted from it and swirled around her body, eventually forming a spiral. The stars sank to the ground, but then rushed upwards again, completely covering Minako's body. Super Sailor Venus then finished with her final pose.

Trivia

  • She was the last Sailor Senshi to gain a super transformation in the manga.
  • The wreath of roses that appears on Sailor Venus’ final pose background in the first anime symbolizes the Greek goddess, Aphrodite (or Venus in Roman mythology).
    • It may also be a reference to the Love Whip in the manga.
