Hey. So it's raining, and I'm bored so I just decided to write this on a whim.
So another clip from Viz's dub of the first Sailor Moon anime has been revealed so I just wanted to give my opinion on it.
Usagi Meets Mamoru[]

- Usagi's Voice: So Stephanie's voice was pretty good, but for me, who's seen the entire English dub twice, it hard to get use it. It's also a little bit too high pitched for my taste. But still, I did like it. Hopefully though, it will grow to be one of her best roles.
- Mamoru's Voice: His was pretty good. It also sounded a lot like the original voice too. Kudos to you Robbie.
- Translation: Translation seemed pretty close to original. They also kept in when Usagi stuck her tongue out, so it seems they really are keeping to their promises of having an accurate dub.
Also, once Usagi said "Purple pleated pants" I was falling off my sofa and was dying XDDDD. Kudos to Viz for that line. (Please release the DVDs sooner than November 11).
So that's all. I know I shouldn't try and compare the new dub to much to the old one, but hey, everyone is probably going to be doing that.

Luna Appears![]
- Luna's Voice: Uhhh.... I'm sort of in the middle on this voice. It's... ok, but it would be better if it were just a bit higher like how Keiko or Ryo does it. So it's like 50% good 50% not so good. I'll probably get used to it.
Also, Usagi's voice isn't so bad now that I listen to it another time. Maybe it's just when she whines.
Queen Beryl and Jadeite[]

- Queen Beryl's Voice: It's pretty good. Just as good as Naz Edwards and Keiko Han in my opinion.
- Jadeite's Voice: Now this was something I most definetely was waiting for, and like always, Todd was really good. He has a high voice in a way, so I'm a bit surprised to see that it worked for him/Jadeite.
The Sailor Guardians Fighter Jadeite[]
- Ami's Voice: Really good! I loved it. It suited her well.
- Rei's Voice: Pretty good. Just a bit deep at times in the clip, but still really good!
- Jadeite's Voice (Part 2): Still good, but his laughter. Oh gosh his laughter XD It killed me.
Usagi Transforms![]
Well, we already saw most of the clip (see "Luna Appears!" above) but also:
- Naru's Voice: Couldn't really hear it well. (Kinda of missing the (horrible) Boston accent for some strange reason).
