The Tsukino Residence is a two-story house that isn't often seen in the crowded city of Tokyo. The size of the house shows that the Tsukino family's income is larger than average considering the high living costs in Tokyo.

Exterior[]

The perimeter is surrounded by a pink and white fence that surrounds a yard with trees and bushes. There is a metal gate at the entrance, and next to it is the letterbox and the family nameplate. The house has a red roof; in the first episode, the siding is yellow but is changed to white in all of the following episodes. Around the house are several buildings that are taller than the house. The right side of the house has a garage capable of fitting one car inside.

Interior[]

Anime[]

Entrance[]

The entrance has a grey-tiled genkan area that is slightly leveled lower than the floor of the house. To the left of the front door is a shoe storage cabinet and a painting above it, as well as an umbrella holder and a coat stand. To the right is a tall plant pot, cactus, a shoe stand, a mirror and a framed picture. Opposite the genkan is a red and blue mat, the entrance to the hallway and the staircase, with a large plant placed between them, and a bulletin board that hangs above the landline phone.

Living Room[]

The Living room consists of a large sliding window and a box window. Next to the door on the left is a glass cabinet, and on the right a blue couch with a picture hung above it, a brown coffee table, an ottoman, and a smaller cabinet. On the opposite wall is another glass cabinet and a TV. The living room connects to the dining area and is closed off with a yellow accordion curtain. The walls are white and the carpeting is blue.

Dining Room[]

The walls of the dining room are white and the floor is covered in a yellow tile. There are two large windows, one is a sliding door that opens to the greenhouse (often hidden by the yellow curtains). The table is brown with five matching chairs, two on each side and one at the head of the table, Kenji is shown sitting here. There is a yellow lamp that hangs above the table, a clock on the wall above the counter and a tropical plant sits in the corner.

Kitchen[]

The Kitchen is an open room within the dining room that faces opposite the table, with a counter and a window. On the wall next to the kitchen counter is a window, with the sink below it and the stove on the other end against the next wall. The wall facing opposite the counter is made up of white tiles and there is a doorframe that leads out to the hallway. The kitchen cabinets are brown, and there is a fridge, a cabinet with a microwave and a glass cabinet next to it.

Bathroom[]

There are two rooms that lead to the bathroom, including a toilet to the left with a separate entrance in the main hallway. One room has a sink and washing machine, the other contains a storage shelf, wall-mounted clothing hooks, and a sliding door that connects to the bathroom. The bathroom itself has white tiles on the floor and walls. There is a window above the pink bathtub where Usagi and Chibiusa are often seen fighting in. From outside bars can be seen over the bathroom window. There is a small potted plant that sits in the corner on a stand at the foot of the tub. Beside the tub on the wall hangs a showerhead and on the ground, there is a purple stool and bowl.

Usagi's Room[]

Usagi's room has two windows on a single wall, a door on another and Usagi's closet covers another wall. The last wall has a dresser and shelves pushed against it. On the shelves are books, movies, and dolls. Usagi's chicken alarm clock is also placed on a shelf at the head of her bed. Next to the dresser one one side is a chair with a dog plush sitting on it, and on the other side is a tall box with a yellow curtain. The walls with the windows and the door have pink and white stripes on them, while the other two walls are blue or light green. Usagi's bed is placed away from the wall with two windows, facing the closet. The bed has a pink frame and is covered by white pillows and sheets, and a purple blanket with yellow crescent moons, pink stars, and white rabbits on it. Besides the bed is a small table, Usagi does homework here and the other girls often sit around it on pillows to talk. There is one shelf in the corner between the windows and closet, with flower pot on the top. The other shelf sits on the end of the wall with the door, where books and radio are kept. On the walls are framed pictures, on the wall near the door there is a picture in a red heart frame. In Sailor Stars, she appears to have a desk in her room next her dresser, where she keeps a framed picture of her and Mamoru. Her room is usually shown to be clean, but other times there are articles of clothing laying around. The flooring in the room appears to be a carpet of a light color.

Shingo's Room[]

In Shingo's room there is a window on one wall (which connects to a small balcony), a door and a closet are on the opposite wall. Shingo's bed is in front of his closet, it has a white frame and is covered with white sheets and a teal-striped comforter. There is a bookshelf at the head of his bed which has a model airplane at the top. Under the window, there is a desk where he does homework. There is a taller bookcase behind Shingo's desk pressed against the wall. On the walls, there are a few posters, including a space shuttle poster beside his closet and a map of Japan behind his desk. His room is always shown to be tidy.

Ikuko and Kenji's Room[]

Very little of Ikuko and Kenji's bedroom is shown, being seen exclusively in episode 9 and 16. For unknown reasons, they are shown to sleep in separate beds, the beds have white frames and white sheets, Ikuko's bed is covered by a dark pink blanket and a pink pillow while Kenji has a blue blanket and white pillow. Although the beds are separat, they are close together and behind them is a nightstand with a lamp on it. Above the beds are two windows. Due to the size of the nightstand and the positioning of the beds, it can be assumed Ikuko's bed was brought closer to Kenji's. Opposite the beds is a closet, and on the wall next to it is a dresser and a window that connects to a small balcony from the outside.

Guest Room[]

Opposite Ikuko and Kenji's room is a guest room, that is seen being used by Chibiusa in Sailor Moon R. The room has a closet, a bed, a sofa, a small table, a dresser, and a window that leads to the balcony overhang, which typically used to hang clothes. Once, Minako dove off the balcony to street level.

Attic[]

The attic was used as Chibiusa's room in Sailor Moon SuperS, where Chibiusa was often seen communicating with Pegasus. It was accessible by a stairway leading up to it, closed off by a trapdoor. The room has a dormer window with Chibiusa's bed placed in front of it, covered with a blue comforter with rabbits, pink stars and Luna-P on it. Next to the bed is a wardrobe with a pink purse hanging off on of the handles, a pink carpet and a stool. Behind the bed is a long drawer where the Stallion Reve is placed, as well as a desk with a pink heart shaped desk chair that holds many books, a white bookshelf next to the desk, three drawers with pillows placed on top of them, dolls and a dollhouse, and a white chest. On the wall are various painting of music notes, balloons and trees.
