“The Lover of Princess Kaguya”
Kaguya-hime no Koibito

Casablanca Memory

The Lover of Princess Kaguya is a Sailor Moon short story that first appeared in Volume 11 of the original manga and then was later re-released in the second volume of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Short Stories. After being saved by an astronomer named Kakeru Ozora, Luna begins to fall in love with him. Meanwhile, an alien creature named Princess Snow Kaguya is determined to encase the Earth in ice.

An unusual snow storm hits Tokyo and the Sailor Senshi discover that the evil Princess Snow Kaguya caused it as part of her plan to encase the entire Earth in solid ice. The Inner Senshi, with the help of the Outer Senshi, must defeat her and save Earth before it's too late. Meanwhile, Luna falls in love with a human astronomer named Kakeru Ozora whose girlfriend, Himeko Nayotake, is an astronaut about to go into space. Kakeru becomes ill and Luna wishes she could be a human to help him.
