"Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The 20th Anniversary Memorial Tribute" is an album released on January 29, 2014. It features covers of songs from the first anime. A preview of the album was uploaded onto YouTube on January 17. The preview revealed that the album would have a bonus track. The bonus track is a French version of "Moonlight Legend" and it is sung by the French singer Clémentine.[1]

In March 2014, King Records made the album available on digital platforms in the U.S., United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia. It is available on the American, United Kingdom, and German versions of the Amazon MP3 Store, as well as the American and Australian versions of the iTunes store.

Vinyl Record Release[]

It was announced on April 20, 2014, that the tribute album was going to be released 7" inch vinyl records. The 10 tracks (not including the French Moonlight Legend) were going to be split into five albums with two songs each. It goes as follows:

  • Sailor Moon: Moonlight Legend and Tuxedo Mirage
  • Sailor Mercury: Sailor Star Song and Heart Moving
  • Sailor Mars: La Soldier and Soldier of Love
  • Sailor Jupiter: Princess Moon and Let's Go "Like Me"
  • Sailor Venus: Maiden's Policy and The Wind, the Sky, Surely...

You can buy each album individually for 1,620 yen, or you can buy the complete set for 8,100 yen. The covers of the vinyl albums come from the first five kanzenban (re-re-release) manga.

The vinyl records were released on June 25, 2014.
