Phi (Φ) is one of the final letters of the Greek alphabet. Following the Bayer designation, stars in the sky are assigned Greek letter names; though, normally lower case letters are used.

Appearance[]

Sailor Phi has light green hair tied up in a conical shaped bun with a yellow fringe with short yellow curls above her forehead and long strands of hair that emerge from her bun. She also has dark green eyes that match the green colour of her outfit. In the black and white manga, her outfit is black. Her accessories on her: headpiece, choker and earrings. She has a similar styled top to Sailor Chi though it shows her stomach. She also has two belts, one at the top of the skirt and one at the bottom of her top. They both have two pairs of the sun shaped jewels on them. Her skirt is long with slits down either leg and the ends are jagged. The lining of the skirt is a dark mustard yellow. She wears green heeled sandals with two straps that have white jewels along them and a brown jewel at the centre. She wears Galactica Bracelets and wields a golden staff.

Sailor Phi is Sailor Galaxia's highest ranking follower in Shadow Galactica. Sailor Phi is the commander of the Sailor Animamates and, along with Sailor Chi, cultivates Garden Crystals at the Star Garden of Galactica Palace. Like Chi, her origins are unknown.

She is first seen in Galactica Palace apologizing to Galaxia for the failures of Sailor Iron Mouse and Sailor Aluminum Siren. Galaxia congratulates her for collecting the Mercury Crystal and Jupiter Crystal and, despite Galaxia thinking the Sailor Animamates are useless against the Sailor Guardians of the Solar System and Sailor Starlights, she vows to send them to collect the remaining Sailor Crystals for Galaxia's amusement. Though Sailor Phi is responsible for the Sailor Animamates, they were created through Galaxia's power. She also introduces Sailor Tin Nyanko to Galaxia after she retreated from Earth and watches Nyanko's execution soon afterward.

When Sailor Lethe and Sailor Mnemosyne decide to let Eternal Sailor Moon pass, Sailor Phi appears alongside Sailor Chi above the Desert River of Oblivion and she executes the traitors. She then attacks everyone else. Sailor Chibi Chibi protects Eternal Sailor Moon and Princess Kakyuu with a barrier but the unconscious Sailor Starlights are caught in the blue flames. She then collects the 5 Sailor Crystals of her victims and teleports back to Galactica Palace with Sailor Chi. She apologizes for Lethe and Mnemosyne's failure and Phi remarks on the beauty of their large Garden Crystal before swearing to retrieve the remaining Sailor Crystals for Lady Galaxia.

She and Chi challenge Sailor Moon and her friends in the Star Garden of Galactica Palace. She refers to the newly arrived Eternal Sailor Chibi Moon and the Sailor Quartet as "Sailor Crystals" and is excited to collect them. She is angered by Sailor Kakyuu smashing her Garden Crystals and attacks with Galactica Plants Blizzard, but Sailor Phi is killed by Eternal Sailor Moon's Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss. Immediately after, Sailor Chi kills Sailor Kakyuu.

She wields a staff which is capable of holding Sailor Crystals. She also unleashes unnamed attacks to kill Sailor Lethe and Sailor Mnemosyne and another to engulf the Sailor Starlights in blue flames.
