Anime[]
The Tagalog dub of the anime first aired in October 1994 In ABC5 (Now TV5). Episodes of the dub were broadcasted every Saturday at 18:00 P.M. The series ended with episode 200 on July 20, 2002. The whole series has been released on DVD.
In December of 2011, ABS-CBN announced the rerun of the Tagalog series. But this time, there was a completely new cast for the series. The first 2 seasons were broadcasted on ABS-CBN channel while season 3 aired on Hero TV.
Censorship & Changes[]
Both dubs left untranslated the transforming phrases & attacks to the original version.
ABC5 Dub:
- In episode 96, when the Daimon Scar extracted Makoto's Pure heart Crystal was cut to avoid showing Daimon's breast.
- Fisheye became a woman, although In the scene where "she" revealed "her" chest left unchanged.
ABS-CBN Dub:
- Zoisite remained a man. But his relationship left was either cut or censored. But he was also voiced by a woman.
- In episode 72, In the scene where Sailor Moon healed the last 2 sisters (Petz & Calaveras) was cut short due to nudity.

- Episode 109 was shown near the Christmas
- ABC5 dub left all the insert songs untranslated except the opening of the series.
- Even though ABS-CBN removed all of the insert songs on the series. Moonlight Densetsu still aired in episode 46.
- Hero TV showed a promo for SuperS season before the channel's shut down.
