Appearance[]

Civilian[]

In her casual form, Galaxia is a young, tall, and slender woman with red eyes. she has long, wavy, hair. Her hair has a color scheme that varies from gold at the top to red at the bottom, making a gradient between gold and orange to red from the shoulder. She wears a long white dress with straps, open at the edges, the central part of the dress has diamond patterns. She wears white high-heeled shoes and red earrings.

Sailor Galaxia[]

In her Sailor Guardian form, her uniform has the same base as the other guardians, except for the gloves, however her uniform stands out from the others because it is made of pure gold (representing her enormous power compared to the others), conveying a tyrannical posture, or great sovereign. Her outfit appears heavy and sturdy, similar to a warrior's armor, and she wears gold boots to match her sailor fuku. On her arms she wears only her Galactica Bracelets. Each bracelet has a different colored gem: purple on the left and green on the right. On her chest she carries the Sapphire Crystal, which she wears as a brooch. On her waist she wears a gold belt with leaf patterns, on her neck she wears a choker with a similar pattern, and unlike her 90s version, the shoulder pads are dropped, but keep the same pattern and shape, resembling epaulettes. On her head she has a golden headdress and a scrunchy, in which her hair is curled, giving it a crown-like appearance. She wears lilac eye shadow.

Personality[]

Growing up in an environment full of war, death and destruction, Galaxia became a lonely, strong and power-hungry woman. Her desire for power has transformed her into a cold, cruel, ambitious and extremely arrogant being, who believes that everyone is inferior to her, and that no one is above her, the only exceptions being Chaos, and Sailor Moon, who she believes is a worthy adversary. During her quest to become the most powerful Guardian, Galaxia also became a genocidal terrorist, destroying thousands of planets, sparing few and forcing or inspiring those to follow her with promises of power.

She also doesn't care in the slightest and is quite cruel to her allies and minions, showing complete indifference to their existence; sending them on missions they are unlikely to be successful and should any of them return after failing, she would classify them as "scum" and to kill them without mercy. She is also quite sadistic, enjoying seeing her opponents suffer and torturing them psychologically by killing or injuring her enemies' allies. Galaxia is also intelligent and manipulative, as she used Sailor Moon to try to destroy Chaos, but her intelligence wasn't enough to fool the entity.

After being betrayed by Chaos and saved by Sailor Moon, Galaxia loses her willpower and is unable to fight, becoming an aimless star.

Information[]

Background[]

Galaxia was born alone on a planet that she considered to be totally "disgusting" and all she could do was wander around aimlessly like scum in her loneliness. However, she possessed the power of a Sailor Guardian, and one day she awakened that power, becoming a true Guardian. The power faded from her mind, believing herself to be more special and that the other ordinary "Guardians" were nothing more than scum. She believed she needed to be the warrior of the most powerful star and decided to look for one worthy of her.

One day she was in a bar listening to people talking about a place where stars are born. One of them said that he would conquer this place, but Galaxia contradicted him, saying that a "scum" is not worthy of such power. Wherever she went, she only found "scum" and worthless planets, including her own home planet, which she simply destroyed by pointing her finger at it, believing that it was no match for her and that there was a much better one waiting for her in some corner of the universe.

While exploring a water planet, she hears Wiseman telling her about a place where stars are born, the cradle of the Milky Way, a place where stars flow in abundance, known as Sagittarius Zero Star, located in the center of the Milky Way. And there she meets Chaos with whom she will make an alliance as she works to make the Galaxy Cauldron there her star.

During her quest for power, Galaxia collected and gathered all the Sailor Crystals she could find and in the process, destroyed thousands of planets. One of which belonged to Sailor Lethe and Mnemosyne, who joined Galaxia, believing that it would end wars and bring peace and happiness. Galaxia also recruited evil Sailor Guardians, Sailor Phi and Sailor Chi, who became extremely loyal and competent allies. She gathered together a group of people who craved power and wanted to be Sailor Guardians, these people formed the Sailor Animamates, made up of: Sailor Iron Mouse, Aluminum Siren, Lead Crow, Tin Nyanko, and Heavy Metal Papillon, whose main purpose was to hunt down the Sailor Crystals and eliminate any possible threats to the reign of Galaxia. She founded her organization Shadow Galactica which was based out of Galactica Palace on top of the Galaxy Cauldron.

Sailor Moon Cosmos[]

Galaxia witnessed the final battle between the Sailor Guardians and Queen Nehelenia from her castle, and was extremely fascinated by the brilliance and power of the Silver Crystal and the Golden Crystals. Believing that only the conqueror of the entire galaxy deserves to possess such power, she wishes to obtain the power of both crystals at all costs.

She then interrupts the farewell between Usagi and Mamoru at the airport in order to obtain the Golden Crystal from Mamoru, destroying his body in the process, and then disappears, causing Usagi post-traumatic stress.

In the following days, two of the Sailor Animamates, Sailor Iron Mouse and Aluminum Siren, attack the Sailor Guardians of the solar system in order to obtain more Sailor Crystals, However, both were killed in the battle. Only Siren managed to get the Mercury Crystal and Jupiter Crystal from Eternal Sailor Mercury and Eternal Sailor Jupiter, which left Galaxia very satisfied, despite having lost two of her allies.

After Sailor Moon defeats Lead Crow saving Eternal Sailor Mars and Venus in the process, Galaxia, reappears once again and quickly kills Venus and Mars, stealing the sailor crystals from both guardians and disappears again, laughing malevolently at Sailor Moon's suffering.

Her next step was to break into Charon Castle, where Eternal Sailor Pluto was to investigate the mysterious meteor shower. When she arrived, Galaxia killed Guardian Pluto and attacked Pluto, who despite defending herself, wasn't strong enough to hold out for long. The fight between them is interrupted by Eternal Sailor Saturn, who sensed that Pluto was in danger. Saturn uses her Silence Glaive Surprise attack against Galaxia, but despite the damage, it's not enough to defeat her. Galaxia then uses her powers and kills Pluto and Saturn. She then visits Miranda Castle and Triton Castle and claims the Neptune and Uranus Crystals.

After all these events, Galaxia finally has her first confrontation with Usagi in a park, while she was walking with Chibi Chibi. She attacks Usagi, but Usagi defends herself with a magical shield, Galaxia's power quickly began to destroy everything around her. her power was so great that it made Usagi doubt her own, and in desperation she begged the Outer Senshi for help. At that moment, Galaxia shows Usagi a vision that Saturn, Pluto, Uranus, and Neptune had all been killed by Galaxia which destabilized her. Usagi tries to summon the Holy Moon Chalice, but to no avail, as Galaxia makes Usagi doubt herself and almost defeats her. Usagi is saved by Chibi Chibi who activates a power of light so intense that it restored the destroyed city and forces Galaxia to retreat.

Back at Galactica Palace, Galaxia awakens from a dream of her past and begins to prepare to receive Sailor Moon, for a definitive confrontation. Before she does, she cruelly removes Tin Nyanko's bracelets, killing her in the process as she had ran away from a fight, like a coward, an attitude she considers to be that of a "scum".

After the defeat of the Sailor Starlights at the hands of Sailor Phi and Sailor Chi, Galaxia is anxious about the arrival of Sailor Moon, and tells Master Chaos that the moment they have been waiting for has arrived. In an attempt to weaken Sailor Moon and the others, Galaxia resurrects the eight Sailor Guardians and Tuxedo Mask using their Sailor Crystals and forces them to fight against Sailor Moon after the last of her minions have perished, but Sailor Moon manages to triumph once again. Galaxia then welcomes Sailor Moon inside her castle, and the two come face to face once again. Galaxia challenges Moon to a showdown if she wants her friends back.

Both then engage in a confrontation, and the power of the two is so strong that it begins to tear the castle apart. Galaxia manages to get the upper hand, due to her experience as a warrior, but she is annoyed by Sailor Moon's determination, courage and love for her allies. She then runs and questions why Sailor Moon is worthy of this power, and becomes determined to obtain it in order to defeat Chaos and take over the Milky Way. Galaxia leads Sailor Moon to the Galaxy Cauldron where throws the large Garden Crystal, containing all the sailor crystals she has collected, where they melt. This puts an end to all Sailor Moon's hopes of saving her friends with the goal of forcing her to hate and feel loneliness, thus forcing Moon to awaken all the power dormant within her. Galaxia then throws Tuxedo Mask into the cauldron. She thinks to herself that her plan to make Sailor Moon release all her power in order to destroy Chaos is working so that Galaxia would be the true ruler of the cauldron.

The plan partially works. After Sailor Moon sees Chibi Moon disappear, her despair unleashes a power so strong that it immediately draws Chaos' attention. Galaxia uses her Galactica Super String attack to knock Sailor Moon into the cauldron, but the attack is stopped by Sailor Chibi Chibi Moon. Chaos then arrives, sees that Galaxia is no longer needed and attacks her. Galaxia is knocked unconscious and sent flying but is caught by Sailor Moon and kept safe in her shield.

Galaxia then wakes up and is indignant at having been saved by her great enemy, even after everything she has done, and demands that Sailor Moon finish her off, and admits that she never stood a chance against Chaos and that she was a pawn all along.

After hearing Sailor Moon's words, Galaxia is repentant, and impressed by Sailor Moon's belief in a prosperous future for the universe. She admires her ability to embrace everyone with her light. As she extends her hand to Sailor Moon, Galaxia's bracelets break, and she turns into dust, believing that she has finally found her star and even if she can't reach it, it will shine forever in the universe.

She also possesses telepathy, which she used in the movie to reveal her location to Usagi through dreams, and which she also uses to project illusions.
