Sagittarius Zero Star is where the Galaxy Cauldron, the birthplace of all stars can be found. In the final arc of the manga, crystal, and select Sera Myu it has been taken over by Shadow Galactica who have made it their base of operations.
Nomenclature & Etymology[]
Its name is based on Sagittarius A* which is the real supermassive black hole which is similarly found at the center of the Milky Way Galaxy in Sagittarius A of the Sagittarius constellation.
Sgr 0* is the abbreviation Astronomers would use to refer to this celestial object if it were real.

Overview[]
It is located within Sagittarius A. This part of the night sky includes the galactic Core of the Milky Way Galaxy of which Sagittarius Zero Star is at the center. The Zero Star is not simply a physical object drifting in space but is magically protected and cannot be wholly seen or freely approached from the outside. It consists of a series of defences which must be passed through to reach its center where the Galaxy Cauldron can be found:
- Gates to the Zero Star: Large doors outsiders must pass through to enter.
- Desert River of Oblivion, and Desert River of Memory: Arid desert with the power to create mirages, and remove or restore memories of those who fall in.
- Unnamed Graveyard of Fallen Stars: Where dead stars pass on their journey back the the Cauldron.
- Star Garden: The grounds of the Palace where the Star Gardeners tend to a large collection of Garden Crystals
- Galactica Palace: Extravagant building housing the entrance to the Galaxy Cauldron.
- Galaxy Cauldron: Where star seeds are born and where they return after they die.
Manga[]
In the past, Sailor Galaxia wandered the galaxy looking for power and purpose when Chaos lured her to Sagittarius Zero Star promising both. This was the start of Shadow Galactica and the organization's occupation of the Zero Star. Throughout the final arc, Galactica Palace is where the villains are shown hatching their schemes.
Usagi first learns about it in her dream where Sailor Galaxia showed her the Galaxy Cauldron to lure her there. Soon after, Sailor Moon, Sailor Chibi Chibi, Princess Kakyuu, and the Sailor Starlights started a journey through Sagittarius Zero Star to confront Sailor Galaxia. While passing through, they find several members of Shadow Galactica who cause problems for them. As Princess Kakyuu, Sailor Chibi Chibi and Sailor Moon got caught by Sailor Heavy Metal Papillion, they were saved by Sailor Chibi Moon and the Sailor Quartet. Only Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Chibi were able to make the entire journey to the Galaxy Cauldron.
