Nomenclature and Etymology[]
Perle is French for Pearl.
Appearance[]
Perle has short silvery-white hair with fringes in each sides and has a three light violet streak fringe that was sprouting around the center and teal eyes. His hairstyle is similar to Helios'.
Civilian[]
Perle wears a light red formal vest under a white long sleeved button-up shirt with black stripe design and the buttons from his shirt are gold, light red formal pants and black loafers.
Fairy[]
As a fairy, Perle's human ears are changed to downward elfin ears and wears a pair of silver danggling white pearls in each ear.
He wears a white mini tank top beneath a pale blue long sleeved loose collared mesh shirt that resembles a tunic which was tucked by a white silver loose wires with white pearl ornaments attached and forms a spiral design. He also has white silver shoulder bands with white pearl ornaments in each upper sleeve, white pants with frilly designs at the edge with white pearl ornaments and was barefeet. He also wears a white silver wire forming a spiral design on his neck and a loose silver anklet on his left foot.
He later gained rainbow fairy wings on his back when Super Sailor Moon regained her powers borrowed from the Inner and Outer Senshi and also to revitalized Chibiusa to become Super Sailor Chibi Moon.
Information[]
She orders the three to bring the children of Earth to her, telling them that if the children are with her, they will never grow old and never be harmed. In reality, she plans to gather the children of the world, place them in Dream Coffins to make them sleep, and then steal the Sugar Energy from their sweet dreams to nurture her Black Dream Hole, a giant black hole of energy. Once it is large enough, she plans to use it to swallow the Earth, causing everyone to enter Dream Coffins, confined to eternal sleep, and thus taking over the world. However, the true nature of Badiane's plans exposes her to Perle, who sees what she's doing is wrong.
Perle meets Chibiusa at the beginning of the SuperS movie in front of a sweets shop. He impresses her with his ability to play his flute to make cookies in the store appear to dance, and she gives him a bag of her homemade cookies as a gift. When Poupelin uses his flute later to place children in a trance-like state and causes them to follow him (to later be put into Dream Coffins), Chibiusa is almost captured. Perle joins the Sailor Guardians in their fight against Badiane. They board a flying ship (how the fairies take children to Marzipan Castle to be placed in Dream Coffins) to go to Marzipan Castle to attempt to save the children and destroy Badiane. Queen Badiane is eventually defeated, stopping her evil plan.
Perle cannot stay with Chibiusa and the Sailor Guardians because he must protect the Sugar Energy of children. She asks if he is leaving, but he tells her that he will always be with her. He gives her his glass flute to remember him. Before he leaves, Chibiusa kisses him on the cheek.
