Manga Series

First Anime Series

In the anime, Super Sailor Moon, mainly uses this attack on the Lemures of the Dark Moon Circus. During the attack sequence, Super Sailor Moon appears to be shooting a rainbow blast as well as shattered glass-shaped energy bursts. Enemies affected by this attack are shown in a flashing background; similar to that of a mirror.

The Amazon Trio's Lemures are shown in an aerial view and fade away as they are defeated. The Amazon Quartet's Lemures are shown in a regular view and shatter into pieces instead.

She can only use the attack when Super Sailor Chibi Moon uses Twinkle Yell to summon Pegasus

In Sailor Moon SuperS: The Movie, Super Sailor Moon performed this attack along with Super Sailor Chibi Moon in order to defeat Queen Badiane.

Musicals

In the musicals, Moon Gorgeous Meditation could be performed with either the Moon Kaleidomoon Scope or with the Eternal Tiare.

In the musical "Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon ~ The Advent of Princess Kakyuu - The Second Stage Final," Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon performed this attack, but instead it was called "Moon Double Gorgeous Meditation."

Video Games

In the video games, this attack is performed by Super Sailor Moon in Sailor Moon S: Jougai Rantou!? Shuyaku Soudatsusen and its sequel Sailor Moon SuperS: Zenin Sanka!! Shuyaku Soudatsusen. She uses her Kaleido Moon Scope to fire a ball of energy at the target.

Trivia

  • In the first two English dubbed episodes of Sailor Moon SuperS, before Pegasus charged up Sailor Moon's brooch, this attack was dubbed "Moon Super Moon Target" and "Super Moon Target" in the first and second episodes respectively. In the original Japanese version, she didn't say anything for the attack before she received the power from Pegasus.
  • In the 2005 film War of the Worlds, this attack could be heard playing on TV in the background during one scene.
  • Meditiation seems to fit the attack's name becuase it involves dreams.
