Hey there! I saw you undid my edit for the stages for the Nelke Musical and Nogizaka musical. I spoke with one of the admins about removing these as the musicals starting from 2013's La Reconquista and up do not have offiical stages applied to them. If they are referred to being a stage, it is a fan term. The term stages was only used for the Bandai run of musicals. Hope that clears it up!
Hey I just thought I would ask if you know why this page still does not exist. I'm just asking because it seems like most of the other main characters in Crystal have their pages back up. Thanks for any info you can give me.
I just find it strange that this page in particular hasn't been put back yet. I know there are renovations being done to this wiki but it just seems weird to have one of the main characters pages down for significantly longer than the others.
I know But its much easier to ditch the pagename and stick with their civilian name in the name section of the character infobox templete. Duchess made the templete specifcally so we can add the Sailor Guardians' alter ego name to it.
Hey, aren't you a little hasty? I was planning to split the main articles in two, as well as adding more information in regards to each and every character, please be patient and don't revert my contributions.
Well actually we're merging the senshi pages and the civilian idenities into one page. We don't need the senshi and civlilain idenities seperated again. In case you don't know what I mean, read this. (Go to the Progress and Updates section of the article and read the Currently part.)
That's where the Parent Tab enters. The civilian and sailor info might be separated, but they'll belong to the same page. I took the template right from Rosario + Vampire Wiki, but some others tend to have the same template. Can you wait for a little more time to see my attempt? If you aren't satisfied you can revert and comment.
I understand what your trying to tell me but I still don't think we'll need the Parent Tabs just yet. However, you can talk to with Magic713 or DuchessDream about the Parent Tabs. This wiki never used Parent Tabs before by the way.
I took the idea from Negima and Rosario + Vampire wikis. When a character has too much info (i.e. having too much attacks) regarding them, the editors tend to use Parent Tabs to "split" and get as much more information, without exatcly filling the page with walls of text.
And they tend to have less than 1k pages X( Edit: YASSS!!! Magic welcomed my idea, despite being at a "beginner" phase. I originally attempted to merge different profiles into a single one, using Parent Tab to split it into relevant sections, like "Civilian Info" for the intro, civilian appearance, personality, background and development; "Sailor Info" for Transformation Phrases, Items and Attacks and "Image Gallery" for the images, addressing each and every version with Sub-headings and Tabbers.
Please stop changing the format and/or "fixing" my edits. I've done them for a reason.
This seems to be a reoccurring problem. I find myself often asking why you're doing something, or asking you to stop. Please follow preset formats and guidelines.
If you need an example of what a character's page should look like, use Usagi Tsukino / Sailor Moon (anime) as the reference point.
So i found a mexican tv rip of "Seiya and Usagi's Heart-Pounding Date", i'm doing a reconstruction of that episode using the dvd source, sony vegas and photoshop(for the title card), and a Castillian spanish tv rip of" "A Guardian's Friendship: Goodbye, Ami", the second one lefts all visuals undubbed, so i don't need to do a reconstruction of that episode, and of course, the intro is an instrumental. For now, the tv rips:
We don't take info from Wikipedia as scripture. We are also independent of Wikipedia and Wikimoon. But fine. Please ask or notify us if you're wanting to change terminology. Me and Magic had decided on pages being called (remake) when talking about Crystal.
Oh I see. Also, I was wondering if you can have a talk with Magic about the anime episode titles. I noticed that the titles are the exact titles that Wikimoon has. I know no one noticed this, but I was wondering if its easier to use the official Viz Media titles so that we don't get complaints about the episode titles having the Wikimoon translated titles. The same goes for some of the Sera Myu songs here.
For now, I will say using the Viz version is best. As for song titles, I want to keep them in romanji if they don't have an official English translation. (This would also mean reverting song page names). But the music section of the wiki will be worked on later as characters and lore are visited more heavily by users. I also have to redo the music infoboxes since they are very out-dated.
I will try to make an "editors guide" page for contributors such as yourself so that you can be notified when a change or standard is set in place. Then you can be assured that it's been cleared by Magic or myself. (it would be different from the general wiki update page, which is more for the readers than the contributors).
Since we are planning to merge Senshi with their civilian articles, perhaps it is best to hold of on restoring any Senshi and their respective civilian articles, if they were deleted. At least until we know where to place the information in the articles. But as far as standard civilians and villains are concerned, they are not being merged, so there should be very little to no issue with restoring any that may have been deleted.
Thank you for merging some of the senshi with their civilian pages. Just a tip to keep in mind, all profiles should have a prefix at the end. The previous format seemed to leave the manga versions without a prefix but because there are so many versions, it will be included.
The prefixes are as follows:
(manga) for the original manga by Naoko Takeuchi
(anime) for the first anime adaptation that started in the 90s
(live-action) for the PGSM or Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon live-action series that took place in the early 2000s
(remake) for the "Sailor Moon Crystal" remake anime.
(stage-musical) for the Sera Myu musicals (90s to present day performances)
