As Magic713 put it best:
"...we figured it was time for some change in the wiki format. We decided that actors articles do not really contribute much to information on Sailor Moon, itself, as it is one note in their career, and that the wiki needs to be cleaned up. I do think that the wiki has become quite over saturated with articles on actors across multiple languages. I'm sorry you weren't informed sooner, but this isn't vandalism, but moreso a make over of the wiki."
The wiki had over 1,000 pages dedicated to actors. The wiki is about the Sailor Moon series. Having a page dedicated to an actor takes up space and resources. The normal practice is to link an actor to their Wikipedia page or imdb; sites that are better suited to detail that information.
I have had to do this on other wikis as well. This is the largest wiki I have worked on that needed pages deleted.
Thank you for your questions and if I can help with anything else, please do not hesitate to contact me. Apologies for any confusion or inconvenience the renovation may have brought to you.
Dear sailor moon Wikipedia i would you to add sailor guardian power from all different versions the like and dislikes of the sailor guardian all different versions and titles of the sailor guardian 🖤💜❤️🧡💛💚💙💝💞💓💗💖💔❣️💘💕
That is in the process of being done. Please understand that the changes will not be immediate as there are few people actually working to make renovations happen. So the change will be somewhat slow, unless more people volunteer.

I removed the images because fanart is not permitted on this wiki, but links are. I thought perhaps you may want links left for users to find your work. If you still wish for all of it to be deleted, I can do so.
I don't work at this site, but I've been reading it for quite a while. And I want to ask a question about an article I remember seeing, which I no longer can find. Wasn't there a list of character deaths page at one time? Was it deleted?
There definitely was a page that list deaths in Sailor Moon. In fact there was more than one. There was a list refering to deaths in manga, and deaths in 90s anime. There might have been one for PGSM and one for Crystal. I can't find them now, so I guess they were deleted.
Most likely. I may have deleted them when cleaning up the pages. Since you're asking about them; I am guessing you would like them back? I personally dislike "List of the Deceased" pages, but if you can explain why it would be beneficial for the wiki to have them then I will consider bringing them back within the renovation project.
As I recall, the character deaths listed were only from the first anime franchise, which included ones that were temporary. But even so, I don't suppose it would be acceptable under the standard policy.
By the way, by "remodeling" I bet that means deleting practically everything and starting all over again.
The wiki is undergoing heavy maintenance at this time. Many images have been and will be deleted as a result. At the moment, most of the artbook images have been deleted as there were many duplicates (even quadruplets). This will be added back at a later date. The same goes for other images as well.
Hi, is really necessary point 6 about images of inactive users? I don't speak for my case in particular but also for other users. I mean, you never know when a user may return active. Seems a bit harsh and with no sense to me.
Thanks a lot and good luck with the wikia restyling
I feel there may have been some misunderstanding.
We are not limiting users to display only 1 image on their page. It's one image unrelated to Sailor Moon, watermarked, fanart, low-quality.
If a user has a surplus of 6 or more images of something else, let's say Garfield the Cat, it creates spam within the wiki's image library.
Users are welcome to add as many images of Sailor Moon related materials as they'd like. For example: I want to upload 12 images. 2 are fanart, 4 are duplicates and 6 are new to the wiki. I would need to decide between the two fanart images and the 4 duplicates would be deleted and replaced. There was a case of one artbook image being uploaded over 5 times, with different names and of different qualities. This is both unnecessary and a headache to keep organized.
So all-in-all, the rule may have seemed harsh if we were limiting users to 1 image on their page and no more; But that was/is not the case. If there were more admins and moderators on the wiki (which there are barely 2 active at this time) then rules may be more lax as there would be more eyes to catch spammers and renovate the wiki faster. Keeping an eye on over 12,500 images as well as cleaning and organizing 2,980+ pages is a lot of work for 2 people.
Please understand that nothing said here was in mal-intent or meant to restrict users unfairly. We're looking out for both admins and faithful contributors by cleaning the wiki so it is easier to navigate for all who visit.
Thank you for your question/concern. Please let me know if there is anything else you may need.
I've already answered this question. I will explain it only once more: There are not enough resources (aka users/people) helping to make changes to the wiki; therefore, many of the changes that have been listed are in queue (meaning, they are waiting to be done.)
Please be patient.
Hello there... To be honest, I'm not inactive on this wiki due to my busy works as an bureaucrat/admins on other fandom sites. Also, I saw you revamped the pages in Usagi and all others in the first anime and how come it was locked?
It's 100% understandable being semi-inactive on some wikis while being more active on others.
As for the locking of pages, it was because a user kept moving them even after I'd told them not to. It was to prevent user from "fixing" it while I was away. I say "fixing" it because it may appear error-infested when it is simply incomplete. These "fixes" actually push back progress. If you come across other pages that have been locked, please let me know and I will either unlock them or possibly give an explanation as to why it's been locked.
I don't know what the previous admins standards were. The anime centered wiki standard I've seen is to have the episode title in English using official translations. I'm not very sure what you mean by "take from the title card". If you mean to use the Japanese, that is a very unconventional way to title pages as they wouldn't show up for north-American keyboard users (they would have to copy and paste kanji from somewhere else to get the search results to even suggest an episode).
Even if romanji was used, there are still complications of how to romanize certain syllables and characters. As I stated earlier, the anime centered wiki standard is to provide offical English translations for episode and movie titles. The romanji and kanji versions would be added to the page's infobox.
As an example, here is a link to a Sailor Moon episode that uses the original title. At 1:57, there is a title card with a translated English title. This is what I meant by “taken from the title card”.
Here is a link to watch ALL the episodes of the series that use the original subtitling and translated English episode titles (which are shown right after the opening).
I asked because I thought the original episode titles (which I thought had been official translations) were perfectly fine and valid, and the change to the ViZ media english titles was completely unnecessary.
With the example you showed me, the fan-translation says "Sailor Soldier" when the Japanese word "senshi" was used. Not "Sailor Senshi". The episode title would be more close to the Viz-dub translation than the fan-translation. Viz uses "Guardian", which is also correct. Essentially, Fan-translations like this may take liberties.
At most, alternative examples of the episode's title may be given on the page.
Hi, I had question regarding the translation of "Sailor Senshi". Is it really necessary to change all instances of "Sailor Soldier" to "Sailor Guardian" when "Soldier" is another accurate translation of "Senshi"?
You're asking as if this was a decided change. If someone else is making these changes and seems to be on the minute level such as the translation of "senshi", please ask that person before you ask me. There are users on here that take matters into their own hands that I am not aware of, not did I ask them do make some of these changes.
As for the true question: Guardian vs. Soldier, I'd say to use what ever the official translation calls it. As of right now, Guardian seems to be the dominent version. Though I personally would prefer to stay with "Sailor Senshi" as I see it as a middle-ground.
Why do you ask this question? Is something going on on the wiki?
Sorry! I only asked because I'm seeing changes of "Sailor Senshi" and "Sailor Soldier" to "Sailor Guardian" so frequently I thought it was an official decided change. The page "Soldiers of the Outer Solar System" became "Sailor Guardians of the Outer Solar System" and the characters' pages have any instance of "Sailor Senshi" changed to "Sailor Guardian". I didn't see anything about on the editor's page about this so I thought I was missing something.
