Her name "KeroKero" (ケロケロ) is a Japanese onomatopoeia for frogs that croaks.
Appearance[]
She appeared first as a tadpole, causing Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon to exclaim over how cute she was but they quickly changed their minds when she "powered up" and metamorphosed into her full frog-like form.

- Her "sentient frog shirt" is in reference to the 1970s manga Dokonjo Gaeru, about a boy who has a sentient frog who lives and reacts on a shirt he wears.
- KeroKero Girl singing scales as she appears as a tadpole is in reference to the pun of "otamajakushi", a word that can be used either for "tadpole" or "musical note".
