Trivia[]

  • In the DIC dub and TokyoPop version of the manga, the area is called "Crossroads" due to the cross-like 3rd character of its kana.
  • The real life pillar entrance sign that was used as inspiration for the manga and the anime was 3-sided; the sign had 7 hexagon lights with 7 kanji 麻布十番商店街 instead of 6 like its anime counterpart.[1]
  • A picture of the Japanese Sailor Moon voice actors Michie Tomizawa, Emi Shinohara, Kotono Mitsuishi, Aya Hisakawa and Rika Fukami standing in front of the Azabujuban pillar entrance sign from an Animage January 1993 magazine was taken at where the Azabujuban Station entrance (seen in Sailor Moon Crystal) was built.[2]
