Jamanen is a Droid that Calaveras sends to help her and Petz run the charm shop, which is a crystal point in Tokyo. She was summoned and first appeared as red wine in a glass that Calaveras was holding, but was actually a woman made entirely of red jell. She can trap her enemies with the gelatin, phase through solid objects, and mold her body into various shapes, such as changing her arms into blades.

Background

Jamanen appeared through the ceiling of the charm shop to assist Petz and Calaveras against Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus. Calaveras wrapped her whip around Sailor Venus's throat and Droid Jamanen constricted Sailor Jupiter in her sticky jell. Petz then proceeded to shock Sailor Jupiter until Sailor Mars and Sailor Mercury joined the fight. They helped free Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus, allowing them to attack with Sparkling Wide Pressure and Venus Love Me Chain. Petz and Calaveras found that they were evenly matched against Jupiter and Venus, so they called upon Jamanen to finish off the Sailor Guaridans and fled. Droid Jamanen constricted all the Sailor Guardians in her jell but Usagi Tsukino transformed into Sailor Moon and arrived to fight. The Droid molded her arm into a long blade and lunged towards Sailor Moon, attempting to kill her, but she herself fell victim to Moon Princess Halation and was killed.

Powers

Jamanen has the ability to use her body composed entirely of sticky red jell to incapacitate and hold victims prisoner. This constitutes the main basis of her attack powers though as noted she can also produce a very realistically looking dangerous sharp sword or other kind of blade out of her arm.

• Jamanen is among the Droids that appear in Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon: Another Story.
• Her name in the DiC dub was Gellex.
