Template:InfoboxMotD Jakoku is a droid that Prince Dimande sends to capture Chibiusa. He has the appearance of a hooded cloaked figure (though he looks slightly different from Wiseman) and uses a scythe. He appeared in Episode 29 of Sailor Moon R.
Dimande sent Jakoku into Chibiusa's dream to keep her asleep until he could capture her. Sailor Pluto contacted the Sailor Senshi from the future through the Luna-P and transported them into Chibiusa's dream world where the Sailor Senshi fought Jakoku. None of the Sailor Senshi could even damage Jakoku, until Sailor Moon, after saving Chibiusa from falling to her death, attacked Jakoku with her Cutie Moon Rod, and then destroyed him with Moon Princess Halation.
Trivia
- Grim Man sounds like Wiseman indicating that he was also voiced by Tony Daniels in the English dub)
- Jakoku attacks Chibiusa inside the dream world. This is similar to an iconic horror movie villain, Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street.
- Jakoku is obviously based on the Grim Reaper.
- Jakoku appeared twice in the "Sailor Moon: Another Story" video game. He was first seen as a boss at the end of the Juuban Junior High School Level. There were also some ordinary enemies resembling Jakoku except that they are brown in color.
- Jakoku is a Droid that has the closest resemblence to the generic Droids from the manga.
