Template:InfoboxMotDIguara is a monster of the day ordered by Jadeite (Jedite) to steal human energy by exploiting the human feeling of desire. In her human form, Iguana opened a pet shop selling furry gerbils called Chanelas. Each Chanela would emit a unique perfume scent and need not be fed any food. However, these Chanelas would steal human energy for Iguana by hypnotising their customers who bought them, causing them to invest their energy admiring their pets and being apathetic to the world they live in. Shingo (Sammy) Tsukino, Usagi (Serena) Tsukino’s brother and some of her classmates fell under the influence of the Chanelas. After investigating the animals, Usagi (Serena) Tsukino also fell under its spell, but was saved by Luna. Luna and Usagi (Serena) Tsukino investigated the suspicious pet shop only to be attacked by Iguana in her true youma form. As a Youma, Iguana would use her customers (including Usagi (Serena) Tsukino’s brother Shingo (Sammy) Tsukino) to defend her, but they were healed by Sailor Moon's Moon Tiara Stardust. But even without her minions the Youma was a powerful opponent. Iguara managed to capture Sailor Moon with her prehensile tail, intending to crush her to death. Yet in the end that proved to be a lethal mistake as it put the senshi in a ideal position to attack Iguaras single weak spot: a glowing spot of scales at the base of her tail. Sailor Moon used her Moon Tiara and managed to hit the careless Youma's weak spot dead on. Iguara began to scream as her body slowly turned to sand but it soon turned down to a whimper shortly before she crumbled to dust. Upon the defeat of the Youma, the Chanelas also disappeared.
