The Holy Moon Chalice is an item under Eternal Sailor Moon's possession that appeared in the manga and the anime (specifically Sailor Moon Sailor Stars). Both continuations gave the item different origins and functions.

In the manga, the Holy Grail was upgraded to the Holy Moon Chalice during the Dream arc, and it allowed Usagi Tsukino to transform into Eternal Sailor Moon.

In the anime, the Holy Moon Chalice was never discussed or given a name. It first appeared in episode 187 after Sailor Chibi Chibi gave Eternal Sailor Moon's scepter more energy; which allowed her to perform the even stronger healing attack, Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss.

At the beginning of Eternal Sailor Moon's Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss attack sequence, this item appeared and attached to the bottom of the Eternal Tiare. The Tiare then extended out from the bottom of the Chalice, and the lengthened Tiare was called the Moon Power Tiare, as it was far much stronger and more powerfully effective on enemies; capable of purifying phages on even greater power-levels.

  • The name " Holy Moon Cálice" comes from the toy replica produced by Bandai named Rainbow Moon Chalice; in the manga, it was still called "Holy Grail" (聖杯).
