Guardian Saturn (ガーディアン サターン, Gādian Satān) is the guardian spirit of the Saturn Crystal and Princess Saturn. She is a Sailor Power Guardian who appears in the Dream and Stars arcs of the manga and crystal.
Appearance[]
She looks exactly like Super Sailor Saturn except she is a small fairy-like being who has a purple aura and floats in the air. Guardian Saturn continues to look like Super Sailor Saturn even after Sailor Saturn has achieved her Eternal form.
Information[]
Sailor Power Guardians are a part of their respective Sailor Guardian like their Sailor Crystal is and Guardian Saturn is no different.
Dream Arc[]
When Super Sailor Moon first summons her Holy Moon Chalice in Elysion, the Solar System Sailor Guardians suddenly and unexpectedly take their Princess forms and their Sailor Power Guardians appear before them. Guardian Saturn floats in-front of Princess Saturn and directs her to send power from Titan Castle to the Holy Moon Chalice. This upgrades Usagi into Eternal Sailor Moon and soon after when Hotaru calls Saturn Crystal Power, Make Up she transforms into Eternal Sailor Saturn for the first time.
Guardian Saturn disappears after Hotaru calls upon her castle.
Stars Arc[]
Hotaru was left on Earth as Setsuna, Haruka, and Michiru left to their castles. While she was playing in a sandbox with Chibi Chibi, Luna, and Artemis she senses something terrible happening at Charon Castle and immediately teleports there. Later when Eternal Sailor Moon visits Charon Castle she triggers a recording which shows her and her companions that Guardian Saturn was killed alongside Eternal Sailor Saturn by Sailor Galaxia while trying to save Eternal Sailor Pluto and Guardian Pluto.
Differences in Crystal[]
Guardian Saturn's aura is purple and outlines her in Crystal while in the manga it forms a large circle around her and its colour cannot be observed as the panels are in black and white.
