Guardian Mars (ガーディアン マーズ, Gādian Māzu is the guardian spirit of the Mars Crystal and Princess Mars. She is a Sailor Power Guardian who appears in the Dream arc of the manga and crystal.
Appearance[]
She looks exactly like Super Sailor Mars except she is a small fairy-like being who has a purple aura and floats in the air.
Information[]
Sailor Power Guardians are a part of their respective Sailor Guardian like their Sailor Crystal is and Guardian Mars is no different.
When Super Sailor Moon first summons her Holy Moon Chalice in Elysion, the Solar System Sailor Guardians suddenly and unexpectedly take their Princess forms and their Sailor Power Guardians appear before them. Guardian Mars floats in-front of Princess Mars and directs her to send power from Phobos and Deimos Castle to the Holy Moon Chalice. This upgrades Usagi into Eternal Sailor Moon and soon after when Rei calls Mars Crystal Power, Make Up she transforms into Eternal Sailor Mars for the first time.
Guardian Mars disappears and is not seen again after Rei calls upon her castle.
Differences in Crystal[]
Guardian Mars' aura is purple and outlines her in Crystal while in the manga it forms a large circle around her and its colour cannot be observed as the panels are in black and white.
