Sakiko's Father is a character who appeared in the first season of the Sailor Moon anime.
Appearance[]
He appeared to be an older man of about 60 wearing a black coat with a white collar similar to a pastor. He had combed back grey hair, as well as thick eyebrows and a thick mustache and goatee.
Personality[]
He appeared to care dearly for Sakiko, although he was very strict towards her due to wanting to use her psychic powers for his own benefit. His behavior was mostly fueled by ridicule from the scientific community, who claimed Sakiko's psychic powers were fake. Desiring to prove them wrong, he began to train Sakiko's powers, knowing she was unhappy having them. However, he truly cared for her and eventually got over his personal grudge; after this, he seemed to be more friendly.
Information[]
He mentioned having been banned from the psychic community due to trying to prove the existence of ghosts. Therefore, he planned to use the psychic powers of his young daughter, Sakiko, to create a ghost that would scare away the people who mocked him (he later used it to attempt to scare away the Sailor Senshi as well). He used a coin to attempt to hypnotize Sakiko into sleeping, so he could control her powers for her. While he eventually succeeded, he was unable to control it, and it ended up attacking him. While the Sailor Senshi failed to harm it, it was eventually dispelled by Sakiko.
