Kunitachi is a character who appeared in the episode "Usagi's Panic: Rei's First Date". He was a groundskeeper for a local park in Juuban who was targeted by Nephrite. The park he worked at was being torn down to be turned into a shopping outlet, but he was worried about how the wildlife would survive.
Sometime soon after, he was encountered by Masoto Sanjoin, who offered a way for him to save the forest by possessing his hat with a Youma. He became withdrawn and angry at humans, even when the construction project was shut down thanks to his efforts.
After Petasos emerged from him and was defeated, he was freed from its control and presumably returned to maintaining the park.
Background[]
He was a groundskeeper who worked for a local park, but became upset upon hearing it would be torn down. After he was possessed by a Youma, he became more vengeful and spiteful of humans, wishing them to feel the wrath of nature and claiming they don't deserve its gifts.
Powers[]
Under Petasos' control, he was able to manipulate butterflies, squirrels, and other wildlife, which attacked the construction company working on the park.

- After Petasos drained his energy, his hair grew white; it's possible she was absorbing several years of his life at once, which could have made him age severely.
