Kitakata is a character who only appeared in the Sailor Moon anime.

He was an artist who was obsessed with fairies and he was targeted by Fish Eye for his Dream Mirror. He wanted to see a fairy, so Fish Eye pretended to be one in order to see his Dream Mirror. Kitakata believed that a fairy would always care about nature, though Fish Eye accidentally sat on a flower and crushed it, greatly upsetting Kitakata; he began to distrust Fish Eye, no longer believing his lie, though he was targeted nevertheless and saved by Sailor Moon.

- The character was only addressed by his surname and the episode credits only called him "Kitakata" (北方), but when Chibiusa dropped her book and it fell open, the caption under his photo read "北方邦彦," which could mean that his first name was "Kunihiko."
