Housenka is a Youma from the Dark Kingdom, and one of the Plant Sisters who works for Zoisite. She can shoot several small spheres similar to seeds simultaneously, which are highly explosive.
Nomenclature and Etymology[]
Housenka has the same pronunciation as "鳳仙花," which means "balsam flower."
Appearance[]
Housenka has white skin with pointed ears, dark purple eye shadow, purple hair and a red streak in her fringe. She wears a light yellow bodysuit with dark pink and green parts on it. She wears khaki coloured gloves and boots that look like leaves. She has a big pink flower on her shoulder and a smaller one around her left leg.
Information[]
In Episode 24, Zoisite sent the Plant Sisters to kidnap Naru and lure Nephrite into a trap, though he fought them off and gained the advantage. After Nephrite and Naru escaped, having a heart-to-heart talk, the Plant Sisters found them again, and Grape impaled Nephrite with thorns. Naru tried to remove the thorns, but Housenka threw explosive seeds at Naru as she was starting to remove them. Nephrite protected her and took the brunt of the blast, further injuring him. However, the Sailor Senshi arrived and Sailor Mercury froze Housenka's explosives with Sabão Spray, in the process preventing the Plant Sisters from seeing the Sailor Senshi. Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars used Moon Tiara Action and Fire Soul, combining their attacks and destroying Housenka, Grape, and Suzuran.
