Sailor Artist is a Phage created by Sailor Aluminum Siren when she removed Kengo Ibuki's Star Seed. The Phage's real name is currently unknown.
Nomenclature and Etymology[]
Sailor Artist's name as a Phage was never given in the anime, so fans have referred to him by the phrase he constantly yelled while in Phage form, "Shippai Sakuda" (失敗作だ), which means "it's a failed work."

He looked like a humanoid lump of clay with red eyes and a fanged mouth.

He usually attacked with a large sledgehammer, as well as form clay pots out of his stomach and throw them at his target.

- He is the only monster-of-the-day who his actual name was never revealed.
- He was the second of Rei's relatives that was turned into a monster-of-the-day. In episode 30 her grandfather was targeted by the Dark Kingdom and turned into one of the Seven Great Youma.
- He is the third monster-of-the day who retains some conscience of his previous self. The two first being Bunbo and Bakene, also from the Seven Great Youma.
- He is the second monster-of-the-day who did not receive any order of his master and attacks on his own. The first being U-Ikasaman.
