"Protect the Pure-Heart: The Three-Way Battle" is the 5th episode of the 3rd season of the Sailor Moon anime and the 94th episode overall. It aired in Japan on April 30, 1994. The CWi English dub title for this episode is "Swept Off Her Feet" and it aired in North America on June 16, 2000.
Summary[]
Usagi's friend, Unazuki, is attacked by a Daimon and has her Pure Heart Crystal stolen. After the crystal is dropped, Sailor Moon must race to find it and save Unazuki.
Plot[]
Usagi sees Mamoru giving Motoki's sister Unazuki another ride on his Motorcycle. Unazuki asks Usagi if she and Mamoru have had their first kiss yet. She is in love with someone named Michael, but hasn't kissed him yet. Haruka and Michiru note that she possesses a Pure Heart and could be targeted by the Heart Snatchers.
Doctor Tomoe targets someone who seeks their first kiss, and, naturally, targets Unazuki, so Kaolinite sends a Daimon pod into her vacuum, turning it into a Daimon named Osouji, which extracts Unazuki's Pure Heart and runs away. Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune attack her, causing her to lose the Pure Heart, which falls onto a garbage truck. Usagi, Ami, Rei, Mako, Minako, Luna, and Artemis find Unazuki in a trance due to her Pure Heart being taken, and tries to kiss Mako, so Rei stuns her with a scroll attack, and they all seek out Osouji.
Usagi and Mamoru ride to the junkyard on Mamoru's motorcycle reach the junkyard where Osouji finds the Pure Heart. Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune arrive and fight Osouji. Usagi transforms into Sailor Moon to fight her. She is at a disadvantage until Tuxedo Mask attacks Osouji, and Sailor Moon destroys her. Sailor Uranus holds Sailor Moon back while Sailor Neptune examines the Pure Heart, and, seeing it is not one of the three crystals, gives it to her to take back to Unazuki who is clinging to life by a thread..
Afterwards, Usagi and Mamoru talk on the balcony, and Usagi yells at Mamoru because he can't remember their first kiss.
