"Protect Mom's Dream: Double Moon's New Attack" is the 3rd episode of the 4th season of the Sailor Moon anime and the 130th overall. It aired in Japan on March 18, 1995. The CWi English dub title for this episode is "Sweet Dreams" and it aired in North America on September 28, 2000.
Summary[]
Hawk's Eye targets Ikuko for her Dream Mirror. In the midst of the fight, Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon are permanently granted Pegasus' power and evolve into much stronger and more powerful Super Sailor forms, and are given more powerful weapons: Super Sailor Chibi Moon is given the Crystal Carillon, and Super Sailor Moon the mystical Moon Kaleido Scope from which she uses her Moon Gorgeous Meditation attack to obliterate the enemy.
Plot[]
Usagi comes home to find Chibiusa and her brother Shingo eating some lemon pie that Ikuko made as a reward for them getting 100% on their schoolwork. She then comes in to scold Usagi for her low score on her test, before an argument between them results in Usagi storming out in a huff. Feeling it is her fault because she ate Usagi's slice of the pie because it was meant for division between Chibiusa, Mr. Tsukino, Usagi, and Shingo, Chibiusa goes to apologize to Ikuko, and happens upon Ikuko looking over some photographs of Usagi when she was younger, before then showing Chibiusa one of her with the whole family.
Meanwhile, in the Dead Moon Circus café, the Amazon Trio are searching for their next target before Hawk's Eye decides to go after Ikuko.
While Usagi vents her frustrations to the other Senshi and realizes her error with Chibiusa, Chibiusa and Ikuko are on their way home from the market when Hawk's Eye confronts them. When he collapses in fatigue, Ikuko sends Chibiusa to recover some food and water for Hawk's Eye, leaving her alone and at the mercy of Hawk's Eye. Chibiusa runs into Usagi at the market, and when they return to where Ikuko is, they are horrified to find her being captured by Hawk's Eye to have her Dream Mirror looked into for Pegasus. Transforming into Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon, they confront Hawk's Eye as Ikuko passes out, and Hawk's Eye summons his Lemure to deal with them. Luckily, the other Senshi and Tuxedo Mask arrive to aid them. However, Hawk's Eye and his Lemure prove too powerful, even overpowering Sailor Moon's Moon Spiral Heart Attack.
At that point, after checking Ikuko's Dream Mirror and finding nothing, Hawk's Eye prepares to kill everyone, but Chibiusa prays for Pegasus to help them, and Pegasus grants her wish, transforming Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon's lockets to allow them to transform into their Super Sailor Senshi forms. He then grants them the Crystal Carillon and the weapon Sailor Moon used previously to perform the Moon Gorgeous Meditation to take out the Lemure. Hawk's Eye retreats, and Ikuko is given her Dream Mirror back.
Later, back at the Tsukino residence, everyone digs in to Ikuko's latest lemon pie, but an argument between Usagi and Chibiusa quickly results in the other Senshi and Mamoru to get involved until Ikuko puts it to a halt as she yells for everyone to stop, leaving everyone embarrassed. Growing impatient, she angrily scolds them that she's waiting for a complement on the pie and wants one now. Not wanting to anger her further, everyone digs in, and their positive reaction satisfies and placates Ikuko, making her happy. Usagi then asks Chibiusa which of her mothers she likes better: Her as Neo-Queen Serenity, or Ikuko? Chibiusa says both, before asking for more, only for Usagi to remind her that what's left is for Mr. Tsukino and Shingo, leading to Chibiusa replying with saying Usagi might eat them herself because of her sweet tooth, sending Usagi into another tirade, this time to the amusement of Ikuko and everyone else.

- In the manga, Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon already had kalideoscopes when they first encountered the Dead Moon Circus which became weapons in that first encounter.

Trivia[]
- This episode included the last appearances of the regular Sailor forms of Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon, the last time Moon Spiral Heart Attack, the Spiral Heart Moon Rod, Pink Sugar Heart Attack and the Pink Moon Rod were shown, and the last time Moon Cosmic Power, Make Up, Chibi Moon's Moon Prism Power, Make Up and their respective transformations devices were used. This also marked the last appearance of Sailor Moon's original uniform, although that uniform later appeared during a flashback in episode 168.
- This episode is the first appearance of Ikuko Tsukino since Sailor Moon R as she was absent on Sailor Moon S. Though he didn’t appears, Kenji Tsukino was mentioned by Usagi on this episode.
