Eudial (ユージアル, Yuujiaru) is the first and Chief Witch of the Witches 5. Like the other members, she serves Professor Tomoe in the 90s anime.
Appearance[]
Eudial's is a redhead with matching eyes. Two tresses of hair are tied in pink tube ties. She even wears a red midriff-baring sleeveless top with matching pants and strappy heels, red wristbands, and a black fringe skirt with a star buckle.

Eudial's Daimons are created by Professor Tomoe, which she takes with her in her station wagon to attack the Sailor Guardians whenever they attempt to stop her extracting a Pure Heart Crystal. She is also often picked on by Mimete, one of the other Witches 5.
After the death of Kaolinite, Eudial took over in extracting Pure Hearts from people, bringing Daimons with her to prevent the Sailor Guardians from interfering.
At one point, Minako is annoyed that she is never targeted by the Death Busters, and is obsessed with trying to get herself targeted by the Death Busters, donating copious amounts of blood. This gets Eudial's attention, although she doesn’t anticipate that Minako is able to carry her own Pure Heart Crystal fully conscious, and flees into a parking garage. Haruka, Michiru, and Usagi all follow them but get locked in by Eudial's Daimon, Doorknobder. All four Sailor Guardians are forced to transform in front of Eudial and expose their identities to each other, with Eudial actually repelling Moon Spiral Heart Attack with Fire Buster.
After many attempts, she discovers that Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune are two of the ones with the Pure Heart Crystals, and requests that they meet her at the Marine Cathedral. She extracts Sailor Neptune's Pure Heart, but Usagi shows up untransformed, and body slams Eudial off a high ledge. However, she doesn’t die from this.
After Sailor Uranus extracts her own Pure Heart using Eudial's gun, Eudial runs off with both Talismans. She is pursued by the other Sailor Guardians, and traps them all in a glue trap. However, Sailor Moon (who arrives later) fights Eudial, although her Moon Spiral Heart Attack is defeated a second time by Eudial's Fire Buster II. Sailor Pluto arrives and takes the talismans from her, returning the Pure Hearts within them to Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus, and revealing the orb on her staff to be the third talisman. Together, the three Talismans shine an incredible amount of light, causing the Holy Grail to appear. Sailor Moon and Eudial race to get it despite Eudial's attempts to slow her down with her Fire Buster II. Sailor Moon reaches it first and powers up transforming into a new form that deflects Fire Buster, reflecting Eudial's fire at her and knocking her out the window.
She drives away in her car, but the brakes were cut by Mimete (who also filled the car with snails), causing Eudial to crash over the side of a cliff and into the sea, killing her.
Powers[]
Instead of using magic like the other members of the Witches 5, Eudial makes advanced weaponry out of everyday objects which are strong enough to thwart the Sailor Guardians. Instead of having Daimons extract the Pure Heart Crystals, she invents a hydraulic gun to do it herself, only using the Daimons to fend off the Guardians. She is shown to use other methods, such as bombing Edward's mansion with a noxious gas in Usagi Dancing to the Waltz and inventing a program to track down Talisman holders on her office computer. Eudial is also shown to own a station wagon, which she can frequently be seen driving recklessly and through many varying and random locations in order to reach her target.
In episode 106, she is shown to be able to teleport and levitate similarly to Kaolinite.

- The classical piece that Eudial plays on the organ is the Toccata and Fugue in D Minor.
- In the CWi dub, her name was Eugeal, which was based on the Japanese spelling of her name (Yūjiaru).
- She and Kaolinite are the only members of the Death Busters to have successfully performed the task they were given.
- Eudial being able to find the bearers of the Talismans and extracting them, while Kaolinite obtains Chibiusa's pure heart to wake Mistress 9.
- Unlike her manga counterpart, she is the apparent leader of the Witches 5, being referred to as "Chief Eudial".
- She is the second member of an enemy organization to drive a car, the first being Nephrite. However, she is the only one to do so without the use of a disguise.
