Animal Instinct is a droid sent by Emerald to fill a vulnerable spot in Tokyo with dark energy. She appeared in Episode 32 of Sailor Moon R.
Emerald sent Animal Instinct to attack the vulnerable spot located on an animal shelter. There, she put all the animals there under her spell. The Sailor Scouts came to stop her, but she got them all on a leash, until Artemis attacked her, giving Sailor Moon the chance she needed to destroy Animal Instinct with her scepter (says "Activation" again).
