Daimon Eggs(Daimon Pods in the English dub) were items created by Professor Tomoe in Sailor Moon S.
Professor Tomoe kept the Eggs in a dormant state until they were needed. They would then be used to find the bearer of a Pure Heart. The Egg would implant itself into an object and fuse with it, thus forming a Daimon. When the Daimon was destroyed, the object and the Egg would separate, and the Egg would break.
