Plot[]

Queen Beryl sits on her throne upon Zoisite and Kunzite. She repeats they need all seven of the Rainbow Crystals to get the Silver Crystal. Though thanks to Zoisite, Tuxedo Mask has one in his possession. Kunzite says he will eventually want the other fragments too, they would kill Tuxedo Mask then. She orders Zoisite to go retrieve the remaining five crystals.

Ami walks to school when stopped by a boy, near a construction site. Just when she asks what he wants, a large beam falls and smashes a truck behind Ami. When turning around, he already disappeared somewhere.

At school, they results of a test are posted on a board. Usagi and Makoto both did as bad as each other, laughing about it. Ami came 2nd with a score of 899, shocking the two beyond belief. Ryo Urawa is 1st with a perfect score of 900. He’s a boy Ami's class, who just transferred. Walking by, he blushes when she calls for him and runs off.

Later, Urawa stands at the roof of the school, reading an old newspaper cutout of an article on Ami. He remembers what happened during the test, which lead to his initial crush on her.

Usagi peeks over at the photo he's holding, teasingly. He insists he only wishes to reach Ami's test scores. He amounts beating her on the last test to luck, she’s still much smarter. The blonde is confident to help with relationship problems, and runs off. He stops her, warning to be careful around any water source. A guy who’s on top of the roof throws a bucket of water, splashing on her.

Meanwhile, Mamoru and Rei walk down the street together on a date, hanging onto his arm. Mamoru thinks he’s finding out more about his past, but needs the Silver Crystal to get the full story. Rei asks what’s wrong, though they keep going.

Usagi and Urawa meet at the Café, having drinks. She lets him keep a photo of Ami eating a hamburger, as a gift. Luna sees the Moon Stick flashing in the bag, reacting to his presence. Usagi asks when he would reveal his feelings to Ami. He answers; when reaches her level academically. In that case, he’s prepared even now. Usagi declares she’s bringing Ami, before getting up to leave.

Zoisite laughs at the fact Urawa, who’s so innocent, is one of the Seven Great Youma. Usagi waits outside the Cram School for Ami to finish her lessons. Luna attempts to be truthful about Urawa’s true identity, when Ami greets the two. Usagi insists she’s found a cool place to show off, before dragging her away.

As Urawa walks home, Zoisite appears, finally meeting him. Though the boy recites his name upon laying eyes on him. When asking how he knew, Urawa says he’s had powers that predict the future ever since a child. He discovered the truth about his other persona before. Zoisite demands him to transform, but he refuses, and would rather die. Just then, he’s blasted with power from the Dark Crystal, to extract the shard. Ami and Usagi appear just in time, watching it happen.

Luna commands the two Sailor Guardians to transform into Sailor Moon and Sailor Mercury. Zoisite doesn’t get the chance to obtain the crystal, due to the distraction. Sailor Mercury helps Urawa escape, while Sailor Moon faces the enemy, who ultimately vanishes.

Sailor Mercury sets Urawa on a park bench. He mutters "Mizuno" under his breath, and she wonders how he knows her secret. Sailor Moon wanders the streets, trying to locate the two, though can’t. Luna informs her the Moon Stick would be useful in this situation. She figures that means Urawa holds a Rainbow Crystal inside his body.

Urawa sees a flash of the future as Bunbo, he attacks Sailor Mercury and cuts her up with scissor hands. While dreaming of this vision, she finds the picture of herself eating a hamburger in his pocket. Waking up, he says since a child there’s been an ability to see the future. Ultimately wanting her to kill him shall he turn into a Youma. That’s been his fate ever since he was little, and needs to accept that.

Zoisite transforms Urawa into Bunbo, who faces his love. Inside, Urawa remembers the words left with him, attacking the real threat instead. The Rainbow Crystal falls from Zoisite's grasp at such impact, and into Sailor Mercury's hands. He figures that Bunbo still has some human feelings left, and completely hypnotises him.

Bunbo chases after Sailor Mercury, and Sailor Moon tries to use her Moon Stick to turn him normal again. This doesn’t work, as Luna says he’s harvesting too much power, and would need to be weakened significantly.

Just as the two Guardians are cornered with no other options, Sailor Mars and Sailor Jupiter appear. He’s put to an immediate halt with Fire Soul and Supreme Thunder attacks. Then, Sailor Mercury uses Bubble Spray to fill the sky with mist. Finally, Sailor Moon uses Moon Tiara Action and Bunbo's power is reduced. He returns back to normal with Moon Healing Escalation, but Tuxedo Mask is watching. He’s satisfied the third crystal ended up her hands, before departing.

Later, Urawa breaks the news about transferring to another school again, due to his father's work. Usagi, Ami, and Makoto go to the train station to see him before the departure. Urawa returns the picture that Usagi had given him. "I'll come back for it when I pass you with my powers."

Ami brings out a new photo that she looks better in, wanting Urawa to keep it as a personal gift, and always remember to come back for her.
