Bunbo is a large Swiss army knife-themed lizard-like Youma who is one of the Seven Great Youma.
Appearance[]
Bunbo is lizard-like Youma with green skin and orange eyes. His body is surrounded by a metallic armor that covers most of his frame as well as a weird mohawk-like plating on his head. Both of his hands are actually Swiss Army Knives filled with various weapons at his disposal.
Nomenclature & Etymology[]
Bunbo comes from the term 文房具 (bunbōgu), which is translated to "stationary" in English. This also references him conjuring scissor blades and compass legs from his Swiss Army Knife hands.
Information[]
Bunbo was reincarnated as Ryo Urawa and was trapped within the yellow Rainbow Crystal.
Bunbo was released when Zoisite removed the crystal from Ryo's body. He did, however, still retain his human mind and heart, and tried to attack Zoisite once more, completely shocking the villain and causing him to lose the Rainbow Crystal he had just acquired: it dropped directly into Sailor Mercury's open hands. Zoisite then used the Black Crystal to affect Bunbo's mind, causing him to grow in strength and size and become more aggressive.
Sailor Moon quickly attempted to use Moon Healing Escalation to turn Bunbo back into his human form, but he was too strong, and the attack failed. Bunbo began chasing the Sailor Senshi, shooting large razor blades at them. Luna instructed Sailor Moon that to transform him, they would have to weaken the Youma's energy first. After pursuing the Sailor Senshi for some time, Bunbo managed to corner them by felling a tree in their path.
Luckily, Sailor Mars and Sailor Jupiter suddenly arrived on the scene and used their Fire Soul and Supreme Thunder attacks, managing to destroy Bunbo's primary weapons: two pairs of shears that were attached to his arms. Sailor Mercury then used Shabon Spray to confuse Bunbo, while Sailor Moon used Moon Tiara Action to weaken him. Sailor Moon was then able to use Moon Healing Escalation to cause Bunbo to transform back into Ryo.

- Bunbo is the first Monster-of-the-day who retains some of his memories of his current life, the others being Bakene, also from the Seven Great Youma, and Sailor Artist.
