Hey guys, sorry for not being active today. I was at Six Flags from 10:30-6:15 (out from 9:45-7:30) so I didn't exactly have the time to be on here. My legs feel like lead from walking.
Also, in answer to your question Len, I do hate my middle school years, mainly because of the way I was treated, and how I was my own self. I prefer high school much more now kind of because I flaunt the weebooness I never could in middle school, because I also wish to understand fine cultures more, and because my classmates and friends are so much more friendlier (for the most part, some I don't associate with) than the people in grade school.
But I agree that everyone's experiences will be different.
I kind of know what you're saying about middle school, because there are only a few other people in my grade who like anime, and none of them watch the same ones I do, so I can't really talk about anime at school.
I under stand that feeling. I think one person two grades below me watched anime, but I couldn't really communicate well because of my awkwardness (lol). And people kind of just made fun of me. Long story short, I was reading a manga one time in class and this classmate of mine who had dirty fingers stole it from me and got stains on it. He went "Oh, soo sorry for touching it, it's not a big deal." Was kinda mad tho because I don't like people just touching my stuff, specficially my books.
And I know that feeling. I don't think that there were any other anime/manga fans in middle school. I was probably the only one. Now I'm in high school and they're not so hard to find. Also sad to hear about your manga. I hate it when my stuff gets touched too.
I thank you for your concern ｡◕ ‿ ◕｡ It's ok still. I just bought another copy and ignored them. My school is also the same. There are a lot of nerdy/fandom people in my school, so I'm usually not that far.
But the stuff thing makes me crazy XD I usually try not to take stuff without asking first when it comes to friends, so I respect that they don't to the same. My one friend always does it to my iPad and he doesn't get it that hands off means hands off. Meh. Idk.
