From the sound of things, unless there is something I am missing, no matter what happens in the present, in the future, Chaos will become the invincible Sailor Chaos and Sailor Moon, as Sailor Cosmos, will be doomed to fight it for eternity with no hope of victory or peace, and from the wikipedia summary it says "the losses of battle" implying that everyone else was killed.

I can't believe Naoko Takeuchu would end it like that, for two reasons.

1.) Sailor Moon does not get her happy ending. No matter what the present and even the future saved from Wiseman holds, the distant future after that will practically be hell, purgatory at best.

2.) The ultimate overarching antagonist lives forever, which is an odd move by someone who shares my interest in the villain defeat that the original anime gave me. Why would she do that?

Unless the present day events either erased Sailor Chaos or weakened it so that Sailor Cosmos could defeat it (and then she could revive everyone like she did after Wiseman was destroyed), then I no longer want Cosmos to get dubbed, and if it does, I'll FanonDiscontinuity it. I cannot accept that ending.

So, someone told me that, contrary to what someone tried to convince me, Chaos is destroyed for good in Cosmos, allowing Sailor Moon to get her happy ending.

But, I just searched for compilation videos of all death scenes, and they only seem to be including those of the good Sailor Guardians (who, I know, will get revived of course) and not including the villains at all. Of which, counting Chaos, there were supposed to be 11, based on what I know of the manga.

So, there can only be two reasons for this.

1.) No one cares enough. Despite being a rarity in 2010's/20's anime nowadays, people are tired of villains dying, either hating it outright or considering it too common and mundane, or else just too kid-friendly unless it's done in a really dark or gruesome way.

2.) There aren't any, besides Chaos.

Do the villains of Cosmos, besides Chaos, get Spared by Adaptation? (I know it's left ambiguous and up to viewers - or maybe just manga readers in this case?) - to decide if they are revived purified, but still)

Of course, all this is a moot point if it doesn't get dubbed. I made a deal with the universe to get Eternal dubbed in exchange for me watching the first three Twilights but I'm not doing it again. (Well... Maybe if the deal was for me to watch Sailor Stars? That would kinda fit, I know I would not like it coz it doesn't meet the anime style that Sailor Moon itself imprinted on me from Season 1)
