Blizzar is a Youma created by Kunzite.
Nomenclature and Etymology[]
Blizzar was most likely derived from the English word "blizzard."
Appearance[]
She had dark sleeves and long pants with pale purple skin and dark blue hair. Her wrists, shoulders, pelvis and chest were covered by snowballs; all of these besides the ones on her breasts had black face-like structures, which could change expression. She attacked with a spear made of an icicle.
Information[]
She was originally a skiing champion named Saeko Yamamoto and the winner of a skiing contest called the Moon Princess Contest. Kunzite transformed her into a Youma to hijack the contest in Episode 38 in an attempt to capture Sailor Moon. She tried to find Sailor Moon but ended up mistaking Rei for the Moon Princess, targeting her instead; she ambushed the race, trapping Usagi and Rei in an avalanche.
When she found them, she discovered their identities as Sailor Senshi and tried to stop them, though they were saved by Yuuichiro. Endymion stopped her from landing the finishing blow, saving the Sailor Senshi twice. She was ultimately healed by Sailor Moon using Moon Healing Escalation.
Powers[]
Blizzar was sharp and cunning, analyzing Sailor Moon's athletic talent in order to target her. She also had the ability to control snow and ice, creating a snowball to bowl over the Sailor Senshi with; she could also conjure obstacles on the route, such as mounds of ice.
She demonstrated the ability to compact snow into solid walls of ice and move them telekinetically with ease, and she displayed breath that would freeze anyone it touched solid.
While not technically a power, she did have what looked like a spear made of an icicle.

- Blizzar is among the Youma that appear in Sailor Moon: Another Story.
- Blizzar's snowballs (on her shoulders and pelvis) have black dots which form the shape of snowman heads. These changed expressions based on her current reactions.
