Summary
During a string of disappearances of miko from a festival, Usagi meets miko Rei Hino at Hikawa Shrine, who turns out to be the third Sailor Guardian of Flame and Passion, Sailor Mars.
Plot
Usagi and Ami go to Karaoke Crown and Luna gives them a quiz so she can fill them in on what they don't know already but Usagi changes the subject to Sailor V and the girls wonder if she is an ally of theirs or possibly even the princess. Rumours of disappearnaces at the Hikawa Shrine are discussed in school and Usagi bumps into a girl who happens to be the Miko (shrine maiden) and runs after her towards the shrine. That night, Luna tries to keep up with Sailor V but to no avail. The next day, a number of girls are threatening the miko saying that she is to blame for the disappearances and a girl (Usagi) running off the day before but Usagi manages to calm things down. Usagi gives Rei her bracelet (her name is written on it and she had dropped it the day before) and then she and Ami disguise themselves as Shrine Maidens to follow her and so they see the youma attack. Rei is the third Sailor Guardian, Sailor Mars, and they see off the youma. Later, Usagi wants Rei to join her and Ami to be their friend and them for a karaoke party. In spite of this, Rei doesn't want to be their friend and hates karaoke anyway and she leaves.
