Act 29 Infinity 3 Two - New Guardians - is the fourth episode of the third season of the overall reboot series.

Usagi is still brooding over the fact that she had been kissed by someone other than Mamoru and a Sailor Senshi nonetheless. Meanwhile, Chibiusa becomes more acquainted with her new best friend, Hotaru, who invites her into her home. But what dark secrets lurk within?

Changes from the Manga

  • Mimete didn't call forth Daimons to fight the Senshi but asked Kaolinite's help to awaken them, which Kaolinite answered by awakening three Daimons that were dormant within people already attending the concert..
  • When the helicopter arrives at the Tsukino home, Usagi and her mother, Ikuko Tsukino go outside to investigate the noise.
  • Only Sailor Venus and Sailor Moon fight Mimete. The rest of the Inner Senshi do not use their attacks against her.
  • Sailor Moon only kills two of the daimons. The last one is killed when Sailor Neptune attacks it with Deep Submerge.
  • Sailor Venus uses Venus Love-Me Chain to awaken the concert attendees from Mimete's magic, not Venus Wink Chain Sword.

Changes from the Original Anime

  • Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune made their first appearances long before Eudial or Mimete.
  • Only Rei had the vividly recurring nightmares of the end of the world.
  • Sailor Uranus never directly destroyed any of the Witches 5 with World Shaking; only a Daimon.
  • Mimete was in many episodes in the later half of season three and her goal was using Daimons to steal pure heart crystals from victims she thought were special (mostly male celebrities).
  • Mimete didn't pose as a Mugen student, nor was her civilian disguise as Mimi Hanyuu a celebrity, though she did audition to become a celebrity.
  • Usagi expressed a brief desire to play the violin, though she played badly.
  • Mimete's Charm Buster attack launched pink star-shaped projectiles from her staff, which could hurt and disorient the victim.
  • Mimete died when she was forever trapped in the Witches Electric Warp by Tellu who pulled a plug on the machine.
  • Chibiusa did not reveal the great powers of the Legendary Silver Crystal she carried inside her Prism Heart Compact, nor was it ever used as a pendent. Instead, Hotaru was intrigued by Usagi's Cosmic Heart Compact, which gradually began strengthening the dark power of an evil female entity living deep within her.
  • Mercury Aqua Mirage was an even stronger water-related attack and was used only when Ami evolved into Super Sailor Mercury.
