Plot

Sailor Moon cries over Sailor Mars' sudden abduction. Changing back, Usagi confronts Chibiusa, accusing her of working with the enemy. As Chibiusa runs off, Usagi sees a necklace with a key and, what appears to be, the Silver Crystal on it.

As Chibiusa stays at Mamoru's house, she has a nightmare of a huge crystallized city and cries out for her dear parents. Chibiusa Says she is looking for Sailor Moon's help to save her parents. The Senshi talk and discuss who this enemy is and how they could save Sailor Mars.

At the enemy's base it is revealed the Droids are created by their "Evil Black Crystal." The enemies decide that they will keep the unconscious Sailor Mars alive, by their master's advice. Berthier volunteers to take the next step of their plan.

Berthier figures out who Sailor Mercury is after Ami locates the flaw in an underground water pipe without any tools. Berthier challenge Ami to a chess competition, where they meet face to face. Berthier reveals herself as the enemy and says she too is looking for the "Rabbit".

The Sailor Guardians transform and are attacked by Droids disguised as people. The Sailor Guardians destroy the Droids and Sailor Mercury creates an intense fog for cover.

Berthier focuses the water in the sewers and uses it to trap Sailor Mercury in a prison of pure liquid water; thus using Sailor Mercury's own elemental abilities against her. Sailor Moon destroys Berthier with Moon Princess Halation, but the watery orb doesn't break. Rubeus appears and abducts Sailor Mercury in a UFO.

Trivia

This act features the first appearances of Mercury Star Power, Make Up, Jupiter Star Power, Make Up, Sparkling Wide Pressure, as well as the only use of Sailor Mercury's attack Shine Snow Illusion.
