Abracadabra Pon
アブラカダブラポン
Japanese: アブラカダブラポン
Romanji: Aburakadabura Pon
Information
Type: Magic Ability
First Appearance

"Abracadabra Pon" is a magic ability used by Sailor Pluto and Chibiusa in the manga, musicals, and Crystal.

To perform this ability in the manga and Crystal, Chibiusa used Luna-P. In the manga, Sailor Pluto used her Garnet Rod.

Manga

Chibiusa learned this ability from Sailor Pluto in the manga, after the former was teased by the children of Crystal Tokyo and went wandering down the hallways to the Space-Time Door. Pluto told Chibiusa that whenever she felt sad, she should utter the phrase "abracadabra" to feel happier. Sailor Pluto demonstrated the ability of Chibiusa by causing flowers to appear and bloom.[1]

When Chibiusa left the Tsukino household to go on a walk in act 17, a little girl spotted her turning Luna-P into an umbrella when it started raining. Chibiusa cheerfully shouted "abracadabra pon" and used the umbrella to make birds and flowers appear to entertain the girl. However, when the little girl became started and walked away with her mother, Chibiusa became sullen and continued to mutter "abracadabra pon" to herself.

Anime

Even though this was never shown in the anime, Luna P Henge and Luna P Magic were very similar to this and had the same effect.

Musicals

The magic ability appeared in Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon ~ Birth! The Princess of Darkness - Black Lady ~ and its revised edition Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon ~ The Birth! The Princess of Darkness, Black Lady (Revised Edition) - The Enigma of Planet Nemesis. In these musicals, immediately after Chibiusa spoke the phrase, the Black Moon Clan attacked Crystal Tokyo. Because of this coincidence, she believes that the attack and destruction of Crystal Tokyo and the future was her fault.

Crystal

All the applies to the manga in the origins and usage of Abracadabra Pon also applied to the Reboot series, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal.
