In the Japanese version of my made up episode “Two Girls, One Job: Usagi’s Tough Baseball Game”, when the sign shows 4-8, the camera pans to Goku and the others from Dragon Ball Z (Both shows are made by Toei Animation) in the crowd and Goku says “We’ve been sent to this universe for this?”. In the DiC dub, the episode is named “The Good, The Bad, And The Baseball”. Instead of Goku and the others appearing in the crowd, DiC would edit The Simpsons in place of Goku and the others, And Homer Simpson says “We drove 500 miles for this?”, Dan Castellaneta would reprise his role as Homer Simpson. DiC would do a Simpsons reference because it would be for the fans.
